One cannot overstate the importance of water when it comes to being healthy. Despite the fact that our bodies are made up of about 60% water, these days consuming water is almost an afterthought.
We’re so busy flooding our bodies with sodas, protein shakes, fruit juices, energy drinks, alcohol, and other fluids, that water is given scant regard unless we’re thirsty.
1- Don’t wait until you’re thirsty
Ideally, you should be consuming about 8 to 10 glasses of water a day. Consuming water should be done throughout the day instead of drinking 4 glasses in the morning and 4 in the evening at one go.
You want to be hydrated all day. Thirst is an indicator of dehydration. If you’re feeling thirsty, that’s a bit late. You want to be drinking enough water so that you do NOT feel thirsty unless you’re out on a hot day or you’re exercising hard. Continue Reading>>
